DroneAmerica_NAAA2014Flying Tiger Aviation will be at the National Agricultural Aviation Association’s (NAAA) 48th Annual Convention & Exposition in Louisville, Ky explaining the benefits and challenges of using unmanned systems for agriculture applications. The company will display several technologies of unmanned systems for the agriculture industry including a Drone America flight video of their advanced Unmanned Autonomous Vehicle (UAV) designed for agriculture purposes.

“It is very clear that unmanned systems have a significant role to play in the future of the  Agriculture industry,”said Drone America President and Founder Mike Richards. “It will push the boundaries of technology to bring advanced tools and techniques that will save time and cut costs.”

Mo Rolfs, Flying Tiger Aviation Chief Operating Officer, states that creating a role for unmanned systems is crucial and involvement for outside companies such as Drone America is key for success.

“Drone America and Flying Tiger Aviation are leading members of the E. Edwards Basham Aerial application Center of Excellence,” said Rolfs. “The center is charged with defining the role of aviation in a precision agriculture decision support system. The unmanned system and Drone America’s contribution to the effort are crucial.”
