Multirole Capability

The Phoebus is equivalent to a flying Sport Utility Vehicle, a true transport Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). The Phoebus is a powerful yet exceptionally reliable and adaptable UAS platform that can be fitted with a wide variety of sensors and payloads. The large payload (200 lbs.) capacity allows the Phoebus to be fitted with more than one sensor or payload at a time, allowing multiple facets of a mission to be carried out simultaneously. Deployment of emergency medical supplies to a remote hospital, airborne communication, maritime surveillance, endangered species conservation, aerial mapping and surveillance make it a true multirole UAS.

The airframe is constructed from carbon fiber material using well-established composite manufacturing techniques.  The Phoebus’s over-engineered airframe is rugged, and all avionics are protected from moisture, allowing the Phoebus to operate in harsh environments and inclement weather.
