The Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) presented Drone America with the Small Company of the Year award at the 5th Annual EDAWN Existing Industry Awards in Reno, Nevada. The award celebrates exemplary performance in sustainability, manufacturing, innovation, and community participation as well as an overall contribution to the region and State. This is the first time Drone America has received the award from EDAWN.
“This is a great achievement for the company and a real honor for all the staff at Drone America,” said Mike Richards, President and CEO of Drone America. “This award goes to all the staff members since they are what make Drone America the great company that it is.”
The award was also recognized and acknowledged by Nevada Lt. Governor Mark Hutchison, U.S Senator Harry Reid, U.S Senator Dean Heller and Congressman Mark Amodei.
